Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech or discrimination.
No attacks on anyone for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age. Criticize the idea, not the person. Arguments over distros and editors are fine; abusing people over them is not.

No illegal content, including anything that sexualizes minors.
Accounts that post it are suspended without warning and reported to the authorities.

Mark sensitive content with a content warning.
Put a content warning on nudity, graphic violence, flashing images and disturbing topics. Mark sensitive media as sensitive.

No spam, unsolicited advertising or engagement farming.
You can share your own projects, blog posts and releases, but don't let promotion be all you post. No mass follows, mass mentions or repetitive automated posts.

Label bots and automated accounts.
Turn on "This is an automated account" in your profile settings, and name the person who runs the bot in its bio. Bots must not post more than once every 15 minutes unless an admin approves it first.

Don't share malicious code or help anyone attack systems they don't own.
Security research, CTF writeups and responsible disclosure are welcome. Live malware, credential dumps, doxxing and help attacking systems without permission are not. Warn people clearly before they run anything destructive, like rm -rf.

No impersonation or deliberate misinformation.
Parody and role-play accounts must say so in their display name or bio. Don't pass off AI-generated content as real people's words.

Keep the instance usable for everyone.
Don't evade moderation with alternate accounts or abuse the report system. Moderators have the final say and can act on behavior these rules don't list.
